First it was the article this morning about the rotary-powered 968. I cringed a bit when I saw it, reminded of the ‘93 I drove for years and how much I loved the torquey engine in that thing. As good as it felt, however, the sound was never quite right. By pure coincidence I discovered that Risky Business was playing tonight, complete with that sweet 928. Listening to Tangerine Dream whilst driving at night brings up memories of this flick and youthful days gone by. Back then my folks would go on vacation leaving me with a big house in the suburbs and some nice German machinery in the garage, but for better or worse I never thought of recreating all aspects of this film in real life...
